Delete your account

You can delete your Receipt Aid account and the associated data at any time.

In the app

1. Open Receipt Aid and open Profile & Settings.
2. Tap “Delete Account”.
3. Choose to delete everything, or to delete your profile and keep anonymised receipts.
4. Confirm the deletion.

Without the app

Send an email to [email protected] with the subject “Delete account” and the phone number of your account. To protect your account, we may ask you to confirm the request with a code sent to that number. We delete the account within 30 days and confirm by email.

Delete individual receipts

You can delete a single receipt without deleting your account: on the home screen, tap the delete (trash) icon next to the receipt and confirm. The receipt, its recognised data and its photos are deleted permanently.

What is deleted

Your phone number, name, settings, location history and device identifiers and, if you choose full deletion, all receipts and their photos.

What may be kept

If you choose to keep anonymised receipts, they remain without any link to you. Records required for security or by law may be kept for a limited time.
